A Vampire is Born...or Made?!

Published 16/05/2024

From ducks, to sharp, spiky, hitty things!! We design our vampire paddles with a shallow depth pin protruding from Epoxy Resin. This has an advantage of controlling the depth of any impact keeping the piercing to just below the surface layer of skin, while also being retained in a non-porous material which can be appropriately sanitized. Equally, our mini paddles are purposefully small and easy to control, keeping any blows on target. The outcome, you will bleed, in a controlled area. As with any play involving bodily fluids, we strongly encourage our customers to engage in informed consent with their partners and have access to antibacterial and sanitizing equipment at hand. Below you can see the speckled and freckled outcome of either a single or double blow of these mini vampire paddles, which is clearly precise and controlled.

Below you can see our spiked paddles instead, which can indeed also break the skin, but this depends on the strength of any hit on your willing victim, and otherwise can provide a sharp blow which does not necessarily, or easily, break the skin. As you can see, we offer personalised options allowing for your initials or other such mark to be imprinted as well!

And then no little ducks came back...

Published 16/05/2024

Five little ducks went out one day. Over the hill and far away. Mother duck said, “Quack, quack, quack, quack.” And all of the five little ducks came back!

Well no, actually, 3 little duck paddles went out to Swindon Fetish Market on 27/04/2024, and none came back!! And we also came back with orders for 3 more - apparently you all like your baby duck pond paddles!!

We are expanding our range of paddles from ducks to also including frogs, bunnies, cats, paw prints, unicorns, ladybirds, skulls, buttons, feathers, beads, and anything else we can try!! But these duck ponds are just *chef's kiss* and Laura LOVES making them!! Here are a few of our custom designs so far, if you have an idea in mind then get in touch!! Orders are available directly (in person, email, fetlife, or via the enquiry form on this website) or via Etsy

Have a quackin' time!

Our First Market...

Gloucester Prison Alternative Market 23/03/2024

Published 16/05/2024

We booked this event as a possible launch of trading event for us a few months ahead...and yet, life continued to throw curveballs and we still weren't sure we would be ready. For the two weeks leading up we worked non-stop, turning our entire flat into a workshop and sanding, polishing, setting, and every other task under the sun, until it was under the moon as well!!

As it was our first event, we decided on an overnight stay, wanting to arrive not stressed from traffic and with plenty of time...as with all firsts, it was a bit of a learning curve - so many things we had intended or planned just had to be ironed out on the day, or just plain dismissed (i'm looking at you, peg board with hooks that just don't fit whatever way we try!).

Taylor, as ever, was the calm to my storm, and embarrassingly there was a mini rainfall AKA outburst of tears. Take a nervous neurodivergent into a loud and pressured situation in public view and add in clumsiness resulting in knocking over half the stall, and a VERY loud noise making me jump...what can I say? Perhaps the tears were inevitable! This is the thing about trading, we found though, that it's a mini family, and whilst we're the new kids on the block, everyone just wanted to be supportive and inclusive of us.

This wasn't a kink specific market, rather the 18+ area of an alt market, so we were never sure how we would fare, but chose to go for the experience and hopefully enjoying a wander of our own. Time flew though and we never did get to look around that much - all the better to limit the spending I guess!

Personally, i'm going to remember the smile on our first customer's face forever, and I love that our first sale was a collar to a couple who shared that moment of eye contact and connection as they tried it on! We are so grateful to all of our customers that day, and since, and are getting to know other traders more and more with each new market.

We stayed a second night, a treat to ourselves but also because we were both fried and did not fancy that drive home! Taylor explored Gloucester night life for an hour or two and Laura zoned out and doom-scrolled with a microwave meal at the hotel!!

We got to explore the charity shops of Gloucester on Sunday, and went to a Vintage Kilo Sale. We finished with a cheeky Wetherspoons at the harbour, as we both love being near the water and soon it was time to head home. Overall, we learned a lot and we loved our first trading experience. Here's hoping there are many more!!!

Thank you for having us Gloucester, can't wait to see you again in November!
